Check out our 2022 Winter E-Zine!
(December 19, 2022) – As we head into the final week ahead of the holidays, we’d like to celebrate with all of you, by toasting to the talent of WritersNL’s membership base.
To commemorate this holiday season and rejoice in the beauty of winter, we asked WritersNL Members to submit their original fiction, non-fiction, prose, or poetry, with an open theme of “holidays, winter, family traditions and celebrations, and more.”
A huge thanks to everyone who submitted – the jury had a tough job selecting just five pieces out of the numerous wonderful works we received!
And the 2022 Winter E-Zine winners are…
1st Place, $125: A Winter Adventure by Olive Fortune (a Youth Member!)
2nd Place, $100: Seasons Greetings from the Bay by Manaar Shahabuddin
3rd Place, $75: The Sparkle by Elizabeth Murphy
🏅 Runner up, $50: My First Christmas by Tzu-Hao Hsu
