Sandy Newton

Sandy Newton is a freelance writer/editor based in Cupids. She began working with words in magazines in Toronto.
Since her move to Newfoundland and Labrador in the 1990s, she has applied her writing and editorial skills to a wide range of projects, including museum exhibits, fiction and non-fiction books, corporate materials, government reports, UNESCO nomination packages, and more. Sandy is the co-author of the award-winning Birds of Newfoundland guidebook. Her texts appear in many exhibits across Newfoundland and she is pleased to have used her editorial eye to help guide and/or fine tune several award-winning books.
