Mick Huerta

Mexican Newfoundlander Mick Huerta splits the year between St. John’s NL, the Amazon & Andes amongst other points on the globe as his incessant story-gathering continues.
Mick was the Writer in Residence at the Tilting AIR Arts & Minds Canada program on Fogo Island, NL in 2019.

His most gratifying activity (other than writing)? – Mick is also the co-founder of www.SpiritoftheAndes.com: income generation/health programs (20 years +) intent on bettering the lives of Andean Indigenous mothers and their children.
