Holly Hedd

Holly Hedd is a Newfoundlander by birth, a writer by nature, and a devoted mother and loving partner by heart. Holly has been creating written worlds for almost as long as she can remember, and pursued a complementary higher education to support her passion, with an Honours Degree in English from Memorial University and a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of King’s College. She has worked in radio and television, as well as print and online media, and in the field of communications for government and industry, with writing credits across media. She currently resides in Ottawa, Canada.

Holly is drawn to stories of struggle and character development, and is inspired particularly by the natural landscape of her breathtakingly beautiful home province. An exceptional turn of phrase will always make her smile. She is completing her debut novel.
