Ellen Reid

Ellen Reid (aka E.B. Reid) is an award-winning St John’s based writer, artist, blogger and performer with a significant number of creative accomplishments to her credit. She began her writing career in 1990 and has published in The Muse, The Telegram, Tickle Ace and Newfoundland Quarterly. Her art has appeared at Eastern Edge Art Gallery and The Rooms.
She is a founding member of The Wednesday Night Ship Poetry group.
As a stand-up comic she has performed at NewFunny at The Ship as well as on The Cosmic Show both online and live at Velvet. She often performs with her boyfriend Mark Hunter.
She has also been a member of the Newfoundland Writer’s Guild since 2007.
