Christine Gordon Manley
As an editor, Christine uses empathy and heart to guide writers from start to finish. While she edits a range of material for various clients (authors, non-profits, businesses), her speciality is memoir editing. To that end, she hosts online group classes in beginner life writing several times a year.
Christine was born, and grew up, in Mount Pearl, Newfoundland. She now resides in Canada’s other provincial Island, PEI, with her husband, their two daughters, and their three dogs. She is a member of Editors Canada and the PEI Writers’ Guild, where she served as president from 2020-2022.
While she fell in love with the red soil of PEI, the rocky shores of Newfoundland are never far from her mind. She can attribute her love of a good cup of tea, tender moose stew, driving to reach that perfect scenic view, and getting outside on any decent day her own Newfoundland childhood.
