Carol McDougall

Carol McDougall, B.Ed., M.A., is the award-winning author/illustrator of ‘A Salmon’s Sky View’ published by Strong Nations fall 2019 (originally self-published 2009).  Carol, originally from Victoria, BC, is an international educator, writer and conservationist living in St. John’s Newfoundland.  With over three decades of classroom and fine arts teaching experience she conducts workshops to engage readers in literacy and nature through the arts. Carol used “A Salmon’s Sky View” manuscript 2008 to inspire her Masters degree in leadership and specifically creativity and literacy.  Carol has recently returned from teaching and living in Zambia with a rhinoceros picture book manuscript for conservation.
