Deadline to Apply for Critiquing Youth Workshop Facilitator

Seeking Workshop Facilitator

The Writers’ Alliance of Newfoundland and Labrador (WANL) is organizing a critiquing workshop for youth writers in the province. The workshop will focus on how best to give criticism on the writing of others and receive criticism on one’s own writing. The workshop will be roughly 4 hours in length and will be held in September 2019 in St. John’s.
Location and date to be determined upon securing facilitator. Please note this is a paid position.

Eligibility:
– Be a WANL member in good standing
– Have considerable experience in both giving and receiving critiques
– Have considerable writing and/or teaching/workshop facilitation experience, especially with youth
– Be located in or be able to travel to St. John’s (travel expenses not covered)

Created for youth by youth, they are building a program to increase involvement through community service and #RisingYouth Community Service Grants.
