WANL Creative Writing Workshop, with Stephanie McKenzie, Lindsay Bird, Tom Halford, & Mikka Jacobsen

This workshop, which is co-sponsored by the Writer’s Alliance of Newfoundland and Labrador, features four writers who are keen to share their work and discuss the creative process with AAUEC delegates.

The panel features
• Stephanie McKenzie, author of four books of poetry, including Saviours in this Little Space for Now (Salmon 2013) and Grace Must Wander (Salmon 2009);

• Lindsay Bird, author of the poetry collection Boom Time (Gaspereau, 2019);

• Tom Halford, author of the novel Deli Meat (Crooked Cat 2019), and the forthcoming poetry chapbook Mill Rat (Frog Hollow Press, 2021); and

• Mikka Jacobsen, graduate of U of Calgary’s PhD in Creative Writing, whose fiction and creative nonfiction has appeared in numerous journals, including Fiddlehead, Missouri Review, Puritan, and subTerranian.
