ABOUT THE FACILITATOR:

Connie Boland is a graduate of College of the North Atlantic’s journalism program. She worked for the Western Star newspaper, won Canadian News Awards for Outstanding Editorial Achievement, and was a finalist for Atlantic Journalism Awards. Connie won a 2023 Arts and Letters Award for non-fiction. Her work has been published in Today’s Parent, East Coast Living, Saltscapes, Edible Newfoundland and Labrador, Downhome, Prairie Fire, The Muse, and Horseshoe Literary Magazine.
