Join us virtually or in-person at the A.C. Hunter Library in St. John’s at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 for a special Poetry Open Mic night in celebration of St. John’s Pride Week!This event will be emcee’d by WANL’s Youth Advocate Jason Normore.

Our Pride Poetry Open Mic event is a part of the official St. John’s Pride 2022 celebrations.
ABOUT OUR HOST, JASON NORMORE:
Jason Normore a poet, song writer and artist – and queer! In the fall of 2021, Jason sold everything he owned and moved from Toronto back to Newfoundland to start a new passion project. In that time, he has written and recorded a record, titled “Surburban Sublime,” and has created accompanying music videos, a documentary and more. Jason has “a zillion stories to tell and a billion poems to share.”
