National Poetry Month Readings in Corner Brook

WritersNL, Newfoundland and Labrador Public Libraries, Marble Mountain Literary Festival, Horseshoe Literary Magazine, and Grenfell Campus Literary Society have partnered to bring you a Poetry Open Mic night to celebrate this year’s National Poetry Month (NPM).
Our NPM event will take place at the Corner Brook Public Library on April 26, 2023, and features three local poets based on NL’s west coast.
Please join us to hear readings from:
– Douglas Walbourne-Gough
– Aley Waterman
– Kelsey Green
Readings from our three poets will be followed by an Open Mic, where attendees will be invited to take to the stage to share their own original works with the audience.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with readings beginning at 6 p.m.
Our 2023 NPM event will also be a hybrid event, allowing folks all over Newfoundland and Labrador and beyond to tune in to watch these readings and present their own works.
