NL Book Awards Killick Capital Fiction Readings

Accessibility: Elevators located on the 1st floor through Access when you come in the front doors (to the left as soon as you come in – through double doors). Take elevator to the 4th floor and the Foran Greene Room is not far from the elevators.

AWARD FINALISTS:
– Bridget Canning for The Greatest Hits of Wanda Jaynes (Breakwater Books)
– Joel Thomas Hynes for We’ll All Be Burnt in Our Beds Some Night (HarperCollins Publishers Ltd.)
– Mary Walsh for Crying for the Moon: A Novel (HarperCollins Publishers Ltd.)

This event will be recorded by Rogers TV and photographs will be taken on site.

Books will be available for purchase.


The Killick Capital Award for Fiction s presented in even years. It recognizes excellence in the genre. The award is generously funded by Killick Capital.

The 2018 Newfoundland & Labrador Book Awards are for works in Fiction and Children’s/Young Adult Literature. The Children’s/Young Adult Literature Award Readings will take place at the A. C. Hunter Children’s Library on August 30 starting at 6:30 p.m.
