Celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day in Happy Valley-Goose Bay with the Labrador Friendship Centre, win books authored by Indigenous WANL Members!

From our pals at The Labrador Friendship Centre and
WANL Events Committee Member and LFC employee Jade Rachwal:

“We’re celebrating National Indigenous Peoples Day in Happy Valley-Goose Bay with a free event for people of all ages and backgrounds.

There will be drum dancing, storytelling, crafting, Northern games and a traditional clothing contest.

Prize draws will take place throughout the event with prizes including country food, Indigenous crafts and literature kindly donated by our friends at WANL.

Our main event will be followed by a craft sale from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at 49 Grenfell Street, featuring work from local Indigenous artists.
