Violet Drake (she/her) is a white settler, disabled, queer and trans artist, writer, and cultural worker born and raised in the coastal community of Lawn on the Burin Peninsula. Her multidisciplinary practice blends life narrative, illustration, photography, and performance together to form a coastal chimera of creativity. Co-author of transVersing, her recent work can be found locally and nationally in Riddle Fence, Understorey, Newest Magazine, Home Out of It Podcast, Lawnya Vawnya, and Canada’s Drag Race.
