Travis House was born and raised in St. John’s, Newfoundland, and despite a deep cultural sense of belonging to the Island, spent the majority of his 20’s on the road, either hitchhiking, living in a van or motorcycle with little to no money. With gleeful recognition of eventual death, he travelled onwards to experiment with Freedom, love and truth. Deeply influenced by eastern religious traditions such as Buddhism and Taoism, ancient words and concepts tend to find their way into every crevice of his prose, always looking for new ways to Be Here Now.
