Join Our Online Writers’ Group Incubator: Be a Trial Facilitator!  

Are you passionate about nurturing writing talent and fostering literary communities? WritersNL invites dynamic and dedicated individuals to apply for the role of Facilitator in our upcoming virtual writing group. This initiative aims to support and inspire writers across rural areas while contributing to the literary landscape of our province and beyond.

Overview: As a Facilitator, you will lead and engage participants in a virtual writing group conducted via Zoom over 5 sessions. Your primary responsibilities include encouraging writing, fostering group development, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the sessions. Collaboration with the group and WritersNL is key to enhancing this initiative.

Expectations:
• Facilitate a virtual writing group for 5 sessions.
• Sessions will be 1 – 1.5 hours long
• Encourage writing and group development in rural areas.
• Ensure adherence to planned meeting times.
• Collaborate with the group and WritersNL to improve the initiative.
• Familiarity with the hosting back-end of Zoom is considered an asset.

Payment: Selected facilitators will receive $1,000, distributed at $200 per session.
