2018 Annual General Meeting

Please join us for a discussion and review of our 2017-2018 year, a look ahead at our plans for 2018-19, and the election of our newest board members. There will be coffee, tea, and pastries. Each attendee will receive an AGM package including various offers, opportunities, and products from various Canadian writing organizations and publications. We’d love to see you there; your attendance is very important to help ensure we have quorum for the meeting.

The AGM is open to WANL members only. Membership may be purchased at the door.

Following our AGM will be a Panel Discussion, “Storytelling as a Political Act“, which will be open to the public.

As well, we are happy to support the Diyas for Diversity fundraiser at this year’s AGM. Diyas will be available for sale before and after the meeting, with all funds going to buy global books, Braille books, audiobooks and Indigenous books from diverse authors around the world. These books will be donated to Newfoundland and Labrador Public Libraries.
