Wayne Jones
Wayne Jones lives in St. John’s, NL. He was born in Corner Brook, NL, and graduated from Memorial University with a BA(Hons) in English and French. He went on to earn an MA in English from the University of Toronto and a Masters of Library Science from Western University. He worked as a professional librarian for over 30 years in various research libraries in Ottawa, Boston, and Kingston, ON, before retiring in 2019 as Director of Carleton University Library. He moved back to Newfoundland in 2023 where he writes, freelance-edits, and hosts a podcast. Wayne has published a novel, a memoir, and two biographies, the latest being My Sam Johnson: A Biography for General Readers (William & Park, 2023). For more details, see his website WayneJones.ca.
