Geraldine Ryan-Lush

Geraldine Ryan-Lush holds a B.A. ED from Memorial University of Newfoundland, and is the prolific, award-winning author of 16 books, numerous other works, including a collection of poetry. Her books have been reviewed in sources as London Free Press, CBC Radio, T.V. Week,  Copley News Services, Washington, D.C., Canadian Book Review Annual, Kitchener-Waterloo Record, Canadian Materials,  Canadian Library Association,  Quill & Quire, Books In Canada,  The Observer, Montreal, School Library Journal, New York,  The Evening Telegram, The Newfoundland Herald, Atlantic Books Today, among numerous other sources.
Awards and Honours for her books include American Bookseller’s Pick of the Lists, Alcuin Society Design Award, Merit Magazine Studio Award. Her young adult novel  The Gravel Pit Kids received an American Library Association Readers’ Favourite Award,  was an Atlantic Books Today Editors’ Pick, and New Best Books Selection by Chapters/Indigo. A native of St. Joseph’s, St. Mary’s Bay, Geraldine resides in Mount Pearl.
