Joan Sullivan lives and works in St. John’s, where she is editor of Newfoundland Quarterly and contributes cultural articles and obituaries to local and national publications. When she is really lucky she gets to work in theatre too. Her books include In The Field, The Long Run, and (upcoming) Game. Her theatre scripts include Rig: The Ocean Ranger and the stage adaptation of Wayne Johnston’s The Story of Bobby O’Malley, as well as her one-woman show Your Only Life which she has performed in St. John’s, Halifax, and Montreal.
