WritersNL is now accepting submissions for the New on the Shelf Spotlight, an initiative that showcases the books of Newfoundland and Labrador writers to fellow members and the wider literary community.
WritersNL is a not-for-profit, member-based organization that advocates for the well-being of writers and promotes the enhancement of the literary arts in the province and beyond!
With this new initiative, we are fostering public recognition of NL writers!
This program is designed for published authors who already have their titles listed on our New on the Shelf page.
If you’re looking to connect with more readers and gain visibility for your work, this is a great opportunity!
How It Works:
We will be accepting submissions from current and active WritersNL members on a first-come, first-served basis.
Selected books will be featured in our biweekly newsletter and on our social media platforms, reaching a broad audience of readers, writers, and book lovers.

- Your name
- Your email
- The title of your book
- The genre
- A brief synopsis
