Serena Nicholson

Serena began writing in her youth. Her poetry was featured and performed at a fundraising event called Take Back the Night for the Barrie, Ontario Women and Children’s Crisis Centre in 1998. In her late teens, her first article was published in Gig Magazine out of Barrie, Ontario. She wrote mainly non-fiction as a journalist and continued to have a featured article every issue until the following year. Once she completed her studies in homeopathy and nutrition, some of her non-fiction work in this field was featured in Alive magazine, and local newspapers. Her most recent non-fiction article was published in the August/September 2024 issue of Mary Janes Farm magazine. She currently writes a weekly publication, Fae Whisperer on Substack, featuring her fiction, non-fiction and poetry. She recently published her first book of poetry, Enter Here. She currently resides in St. John’s Newfoundland, Canada, with her husband and two sons.
