C.S. Bury

After graduating with a degree in English language and literature, Clayton began an international sales career that took him around much of the world, a journey he is still on today.  His writing career has been largely technical sales related but he studied the classics with a concentration in Shakespeare.

During a ten-year tenure at The Fisheries and Marine Institute, he published The Journal of Ocean Technology, a peer-reviewed quarterly periodical where he served as founding publisher and oversaw distribution to more than 50 countries in its first year.  Today. the JOT continues to thrive at Memorial University where it enjoys strong global readership.

With three decades in the high-tech world of maritime simulation, he has worked with militaries, governments and corporations around the world, developing a strong global network and deep cultural experiences.  This marriage of technology and international travel combined to form a strong foundation for his first novel, an action-packed sci-fi thriller, now polished and seeking an agent and a publisher.

He has been a member of WritersNL for three years and is currently working on his next novel.
