Lisa Daly
Lisa M. Daly writes both fiction and non-fiction. She has a PhD from Memorial University in aviation archaeology, and has published on aviation and conflict archaeology and history in Canadians and War Vol.3 through Lammi Publishing, The Journal of Conflict Archaeology, AP Online Journal of Public Archaeology, and has articles in press for an upcoming next book and NQ. Her fiction has been published through Engen Books and Black Hare Press, including the Slipstreamers novella Navigating Stories.
She is a heritage specialist, having worked in heritage since 2001. Currently, she is chair of Heritage NL and on the Newfoundland and Labrador Historical Society and Conception Bay Museum boards. She has worked as a tour guide, a museum manager, an archaeologist, tour developer, historical consultant, documentary presenter and more. Her experience and research into the history of the province has often informed and inspired her non-fiction writing.
