Valda Organ

Valda Organ is a full time writer living in St. John’s, Newfoundland. She is the founder and former Managing Editor of Tuck Magazine, an online global human rights, arts and literature publication. She is also a freelance editor and writer. Her interviews, book reviews, poetry and short fiction can be found in an assortment of print and online publications such as Herizons Magazine, Hercircle, The Cuffer Anthology, Sibling Rivalry Press, Unbound Content, Reader’s Digest and Tuck Magazine.

In 2013 she was invited to be a guest panelist at the 40th anniversary of the Writers’ Union of Canada conference in Ottawa to discuss independent publishing.

Currently she is completing edits on ‘Chips and Bars,’ a collection of short stories set in Newfoundland, to be released in October on Amazon.
