Linda Browne

Linda has always been a storyteller at heart, spinning short and tall tales since she was a child. In addition to a Bachelor of Arts in English from Memorial University in St. John’s, she has also earned a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of King’s College in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She loves shining the spotlight on the amazing people and places of Newfoundland and Labrador, which she does through her freelance writing/editing business.

Throughout her career, Linda has worked as an editor at a weekly community newspaper, a copywriter/editor, freelance magazine writer, blog writer, social media content creator, communications consultant and event listings editor. Her work has been published locally and internationally, and she’s always on the lookout for the next great story.

In her free time, Linda loves enjoying the great outdoors, playing her guitar, exploring every Little Free Library she can find, and working with her illustrator husband to create children’s stories.
